The bed and how it behaves

This colour is traded as Shahabad Reddish Limestone, often shortened to Shahabad Reddish in schedules. We do not use the Tandur Grey, Dove Grey or Tandur Yellow names for it, because those identify different colour selections for buyers.

The reddish bed occurs less frequently than the grey and yellow beds, so continuity across a large phased job is worth discussing with us up front. The colour is a soft red-brown, closer to a dark clay than a red sandstone.

Natural and honed faces are available, with polished and brushed produced to order.
